Boredom!!!, it's a luxury that i don't have...

i think, it's interesting to see that most of the repliers to this topic are women heheheh!

there are plenty of things to do as long as you are with the good company.

you have the cultural centre of your embassy that organizes many events (at least the french one does i know)

You can go clubbing, just enjoy a good beer, with good music while looking at good looking guys (for you), for me charming, sexy high class attitude ladies...

You can go play bowling in city center or even ice skating with ur second half.

you can go see a movie,... COME ON there are plenty of stuff to do, just be with the right persons, and whenever or wherever you will be you will have a great time and you won't see the time passes. that's my philosophy...

Anyway, hope it wwill get better for you.

Well I would not debate on this subject, but guess it all boils down to one thing and that is lack of freedom here coz you never know who has got their eyes on you. At times one can feel really bored and lonely after being all over the place. Then again every place has their advantages and disadvantages.

make new friends you will never feel bore..wen ever i feel bore just call up my friends make 1 place to meet and just hang out..or we just go to bowling challenge each other just for fun.

Places to go so not to get bored...hell no Qatar Living...this is a damn forum, yes QLiving Social Meetups, yes for a few friends and some other places or ways of timepass as someone mentioned above...

we did organize that and we have been through alot of trips. its just the summer i cant do anything for a while till october.

I recommend - find yourself a friend with a boat for the summer and a friend with a desert camp for the winter - it will add a whole new dimension to your stay here in Qatar and makes it really fun and worthwhile!

Alternatively, get some friends together and a rent a dhow for an afternoon or try some jet-ski from the hotels - good fun.

After all - the scene here lives from ppl's initiatives, so what we don't organise won't happen as a party or trip...

I would like to go out with you and QT ... both of you will really make great company for me. xxx

well ... the problem we can stay in a nice place and my husband have no job, or we can stay in the desert and my husband earning his income to provide the family. For me i just trying my best making the most of it.
