Qatar Living Photography on flickr

There has been a little discussion on the site about photography and sharing images, learning skills, meeting up.  I use www.flickr.com for my photosharing and publishing so thought why not combine 2 of my favourite websites!

I have set up a group on flickr for qatarliving members www.flickr.com/groups/qatarliving/ so, if you want to share your images of Qatar and everything else with the people on this site (and the world) join up to flickr (quick, free and painless) and join the QL group!  We can also use this group as a place for photo-related discussion, meet-ups and learning.

I have a Flickr account but the problem is you're only allowed to see the first 200 images you upload and after that you have to pay. Of course the solution is either cough up or get another Flickr account but then you'd have to keep track of all your accounts and which pics are where.

Gives me an idea for the tech group!

Just new to Qatar... and happy to see a Qatar flickr group! I've just added the group to my list, and looking forward to seeing all your pictures.

Any tips on where to go for shoots? During my first week I went to the desert, which I absolutely loved, but I think it'll soon be too hot to shoot there? Any indoor locations that you can recommend?

Have just joined and uploaded some photos. My ID on Flickr is davdenksa.

You have some great photos. The construction worker ones are brilliant.

I only have a sony cybershot, but love taking photos .. especially with 4 kids :-)

Hopefully more people will join Flickr.

Bye for now.
