@a_guy, there is a huge megal road plan. I'm working on a small video as well. Hopefully that will help you see how certain sections will look.
Traffic is not worse than 2 years ago in my opinion. It is still slow because the other main roads are still being worked on. Once they are open, traffic will ease.

No the traffice is much better than two years ago. I can second that - sometimes I was waiting and hour just to get round a roundabout.
What is right, Doha is not Dubai, and never will be, there is still a very conservative balance here which does not exist in Dubai.
Qatar has not opened its markets internationally on a large scale, preventing new and better in business development and new ideas, moreover it has not resolved its rent issues which are haphazzered due to interfering agents, the law is not in control and never will be unless there is a complete control over real estate agents, who should loose thier license at the slightest misuse.
The rent issue is not a question for debate on QL, you Qataris have to fix it once and for all and not keep changing minds and rules to fit the other side
the pearl area roads secondary roads are already being built and are due to be completed by the time phase 1 of the pearl is finished. As can be seen in westbay, the main road is due to be finished when the first set of buildings are done by June.
It's all by phases.
In Doha, construction isn't being left. The reason why things have slowed down a bit is due to the fact that there is a steel, labour, cement, etc.. shortage.
they should be careful to realize all those mega projects.Qatar is Qatar and not Dubai.I fear Qatar will loose lot if his Charm and the landspace in Qatar is not unlimited.

thumbs up whoami
It is only right to marvel when other circumstances have been seen to, no use to polish anything when the foundations are rustly.
Inshallah the rent will be dealt with as promised by the government.
For now, let's marvel at our Mega Projects :D

Good Morning,

Second understandable thing:
Road works takes ages... Buildings are up in a sigh...
Doing a logical calculation: if the biulding are up before the roads are finish how do you prevent having an issue?
My question is
How the hell are they going to evacuate those huge towers in DOHA roads?
Does anybody is thinking of a MEGA road plan?
The silly bridges are not helping much... trafic is even worse than 2 years ago!!
