maybe those of u encounters positive experience are those who hav and acquired learning abroad (or same quality in here or havin taught of with) and those who hav negative ones are those who skip skuls and much like to bully others til they get older...
so, for me much better to be on the safe side and just dont expect for anytime til its done... den appreciate dem like anybody else.

My cousin joined in QP last month from Kuwait. He says he is so happy to find that Qataris are 200% better than Kuwaitis.
You go to Ummsaied and Sand dunes.. your salone car is trapped in the sand. suddenly some qatari young men comes with their BIG vehicle, ropes, hooks and all time of paraphernalia ... within minutes, you are out of the messpool ( I did not do this gesture in my homecountry to a foreigner, I am sure you too )
You go to Raslaffan, your car is suddenly off,,due to power prblem. A qatari stops his vehicle , come with some wires, fuses and connects to his vehicle... you are ready to Go..

Of course, there are funny characters too... in the middle of a business meeting , this qatari suddenly asks you " are you Muslim?"....
I want to know, How two old woman treat themselves?
Must be the perfume.
And let's dedicate ourselves to what the Greeks wrote so many years ago: to tame the savageness of man and make gentle the life of this world. Let us dedicate ourselves to that, and say a prayer for our country and for our people.
The few Qataris that I do know are wonderful people, and extremely hospitable. Perhaps, I know them because they are more open to meeting new people than the average qatari, but I've had many more positve experiences than negative. I've also had plenty of experiences in the desert with complete strangers who went WAY out of the way to help. All the negative experiences I have here are with foreigners!

because of my job i know gazillions...oh well slight exageration....
let me tell you what happened today..I was in the mall and bumped into one of my male students who is shy and speaks little English
he was off to eat...despite him coming from a very traditional family in a mixture of arabic and english he invited me to join them....
Now this young man has never known a woman outide of his family and has never interacted with a foreign woman before I was his teacher.
Now go on tell me fair and square that isn't hospitable?
I can't imagine students in the UK doing that.
A lot of Qataris I know have very giggly teasing sense of humour...
there are bad and good people in any countries ... go and ask Whoami ! :-)
