QIC health card issues
Yesterday, I faced a terrible experience with QIC health card, I went to Apollo clinic and doctor prescribed some medicines out this some are not available in their hospital pharmacy. I went to buy medicine from outside pharmacies. This is very shocking to see that many pharmacies refused to accept QIC card. Some pharmacies told me that they accept QIC card only when doctor’s prescription is from adjacent clinics like at Al Nasr road Doha Clinic and at Salwa road Qatar clinics. I went five pharmacies and all they refused, finally I had to buy medicine on cash. This attitude shows QIC and pharmacies are not open for patients instead they want to monopolies the situation. Health cards must be accepted no matter which doctor prescribed medicine, if you guys have faced any such worst situation like this please share your experience.
Yes. right, you should go to the accredit pharmacies indicated in the QIC booklet.
It should but doesn't. You have to check the QIC booklet. There they specify the list of hospitals and pharmacies they have agreement with. All insurance companies here they do that depends on each person policy.
