QL Blood Donation campaign

I am sorry guys but after i finished and take my snack i hurriedly left the hospital because i still need to come back to work. I am the second QL member there. I really wanted to meet everybody. I hope next time.

I wish I could be there, I love giving blood (I'm 0 negative.) Can't do it anymore in the US because of living overseas for longer than the Red Cross's specified linit so I really like to give when I'm in the Gulf. Next time! I'll bring a big, fat vein AND pompoms. Who's bringing the cookies?

well, I remember to everybody that the wish to donate should not be confused with the donation rules. You should not have had sex with different partner in the last six months. The day before the donation you should not drink. Now, tell me how many are eligible to donate?

I just spoke to HMC.... they have other groups booked on Thursday Friday and Saturday.

Sunday 28.06.2009 between 4PM to 8PM they are agreed to take our Group. Now we have 2 options:

We all meeting in HMC Blood Donation Buidling

OR

If we have more than 25 blood donors they will arrange to send a Mobile Unit to our suggested place.

Arange for a Mobile Blood Donation unit. Then all the QLers can gather, meet, chat and give blood at the same time..

Yep sadly i'm very afraid of needles thats why i never did drugs..err ok yeah i never did drugs. not to mention seeing my own blood me getting goose bumps as i type :( Plus i'm O+ very common my blood wont be missed we can drain Rizks out.

campaigns under QLVG only. Coz there are several volunteers who regularly check our QLVG for any new thread or update.

Anyhow, You have my full support and I want people like you, PITSTOP and others to take such step yourself and I will give you my full support.

Today notice is toooooooo short. How about doing it on Thursday evening because on Saturday We will be running PITSTOP campaing for the Labourers 'Cap and Water'

Thx for reminding me Victor... I am aware of the conditions as I have donated few times before, but I will try to find out the pre-conditions and post it here for others information.

That’s why I thought of doing it before the vacation season...

Last time, it was really embrassing when I was in a queue to donate blood and last minute they refused to accept when I told that I travelled to India and Saudi Arabia in last six months.
