Go to the Social Group on the list and click on that.  That is where you apply for membership.  As far as I can remember the only criteria is that you have been a member for X number of weeks and have X number of points to show you have a genuine interest in being an active member of QatarLiving.

The one which is same as the QL banner got the most votes.

first of all , I appreciate your opinion. No worries. I expected some aggressiveness :)

I have met Darude, and I have no prejudices towards anyone on here :) I just believe that a manager should be a bit nicer especially with newbies. I have been insulted so many times by him just because I differ in opinion. I was even threatened . He could confirm :) Once he threatened me about my Job here in Qatar. He said that he will make me lose my job!!!! How can you like someone who has such a behavior.

and... concerning the logo, I know that this is an old conception by Qatarliving Operators. That's exactly why I said It's not that innovative. You may also check , I have already posted my own conception and I expected more people to do the same. My opinion about that logo Darude made is a sorta artistic view. I confirm :) it's banal.

And... I was NOT staying in the corner and when someone came out with such a "genius" idea I just woke up and start complaining :)

My answer: The logo was NOT designed by Darude. It was done by the administrators of the site. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT before saying something about someone. else, you could end up looking like the fool. And to put things in the right perspective, i have talked ato at least 20 people who think that the design is actually ossome... So not everypone think that it is 'banal'.

Qatar Living's vision will take it to a far higher level than is now. That’s what is making me happy. This site is serving its purpose now and will serve a bigger purpose very soon.

People are helping each other, holding useful events, gathering for social rounds, enhancing skill, job opportunities, cultural mix up and more. I see it taking large strides and will be one of the most accountable Qatari sites for polls and intelligence and will be quoted in the press too.   

Although I voted for “not wanting a Qatar Living product”, yet I believe it is amusing and interesting especially for charity events and larger gatherings where members will need to recognize each other. 

To QL founders and those working in tandem with them, I salute you for your vision and perseverance.
