I just like to vent my disgust and anger over qtel billing..I had mozaic + internet account transferred to my name in august because of my colleague resigning from work..they told me that I will just continue the 1 yr contract..from august till november i receive a zero Bill..I inquired last Oct. for my bill and they confirmed it was zero amount as stated in my e-bill..

now today i get my bill for QR 750 and they want us to pay that bill otherwise they say we will have disconnection of services.. even worst they actually lied about the contract..they created a new 1 yr holding contract..
this is crap!

They will suspend the service in both the cases, whether it exceeded the credit limit or the payment was not made at all or made partially for consecutive 3 to 4 months. That is their system.

I pay 250 rial every month and my limit is I think 2000 QR. I always pay like 200 QR or 150 QR online but the remaining 50/ 100 QR still their. after 3 months they disconnect my connection even my remaining balance is less than 300 QR and they said I still have a balance amount from my 3 months back bill. So the 2000 QR limit is no use.

It never happens, the moment you take over a service, it get registered under your name and a new contract begins. Qr.750/- must be 3 months billing in advance because that is how they bill initially. You will receive the next bill after 3 months Qr.250/-. They won't disconnect unless don't pay for more than 3 months or if you exceed the credit limit, find out how much is that.

they are ok..try to understand their system inlcuding our wishes...Initially i was also rushed but now i can understand their's billing methodology and found ok and as per our usages.

really? oh my gosh i have also fiber optic but they didn't told me that i have to pay they said its free goodluck to my bill

I got a call from Qtel informning me that they are going to install the fiber optic in my house....fast forward. Last month I got the Qtel bill, it appears higher than my usual bill. It turns out that since I got the fiber optic I have to be paying additional 100 Riyal every month, but I was not informed beforehand about this 100 Riyal. I complained to Qtel, all they said "we are terribly sorry" still I have to pay!

Me too I don't understand their billing statements on how they do it. I have a broadband connection and they charge soooo freakin' high on the extra mb's you use!
