Qtel - Complaint (internet problems)
I have recently lodged a complaint with Qtel for the constant on and off of my internet. It will be on for hours, then suddenly goes off for 2 mins and then back on. Its always happening, and cos my tv receiver needs a boost from the internet, the tv is always affected.
I had the same problem about 1 month ago, and Qtel fixed it in 2 hours, saying it was a problem outside on the exchange.
Now i have been waiting 5 days, and complaints are supposed to be fixed in 2 days.
When i explain on the phone that they fixed the problem easily a month ago, they just ignore me and tell me that their supervisor will be in touch.
Banging my head againist a brick wall................
oh great, it's fixed now.... for how long it remains fixed, I have no idea.. :P
tinks, I went through the same this morning... still got no results... I gave up.. :(
tell me about it tinks.. can you imagine, it's only been more than a month that I have my Mozaic, but the receiver is already malfunctioning?!? the back of my receiver is full of scotch tape now because the darn switch keeps popping out...
tinks, that's what happened to me the other day, I called up 111, fortunately, the lady I spoke to was able to guide me through in sorting it out.. but today, same thing happened, but wasn't so lucky today as it's still not repaired... maybe I should just unsubscribe... :(
QTEL SUCKS!!! poor service! until now mozaic-internet not working almost a month now. they inform us that the number they have provided us is belong to some1 else! and now we suffer! WTF!!!!

Just something to look at, I had a ton of issues with my cheap crappy ADSL router that Q-Tel provides. I had the exact same dropout issues, but what I found was that it was the router itself rebooting. The actual line from Q-Tel was perfectly fine. Once I replaced the router, I havent had any issues since.
your Mozaic sucks, I've had to call the customer care center twice this week now because of the same problem.. and they won't even tell me what the heck this "-5 Inactive Account" means.. second time it's happened, well at least the first time it did the other day, the lady who took my call was able to help me out and fix it same day.. unfortunately, the guy who took my call today, gave the same instructions switching the friggin' modem and receiver on and off, which by the way, takes forever to reboot, and still get no results in the end.. and of course, as always, they file the report and as usual waiting time of 48 hours to have it fixed!!!
I've never had complaints with Qtel as far as the internet is concerned, but this Mozaic is really beginning to get on my nerves... :/
Oh, and one last thing, my receiver's power switch at the back of it keeps popping out so it keeps switching off, I've had to put tape on it just to keep it on, which of course pops back out!!

same problem here. Q-tel is useless, how can you have a monopoly for so long and not be able to run an internet connection?
It is also annoying me, last week it stopped working at midnight till the next day, and it just happened when i had something important to do online.
I think the problem with them is the a people or simply their technician they extremely incompetent they dont know everything about the product, they really dont know how to trouble shoot. i faced several issues with them and it takes a month before they address the problem.
secondly, UNPROFESSIONAL TECHNICIAN: some of their technicians are really rude ... and most of the time always in a hurry reason why they cannot address the problems properly because they have to go with the other clients.
Thirdly, lazy; sometimes they will not come to your place, they usually call you and asking "do this ..... do this ..." you are the client and yet you have to work with them.
FINALLY: HOPE QTEL WILL FOCUSED OR IMPROVED THEIR "CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HAVE THEIR TECHNICIAN WELL PROFESSIONAL"
