It seems Qtel has doubled the ADSL connection speeds today for everyone:
512 kb to 1 mb
1 mb to 2 mb
2 mb to 4 mb
use http://www.speedtest.net/ to check the speed of your internet.

Yes its true.. My DSL speed is 1 MB and I seem to be getting little over 2MB, My downloads are faster now !!
And this has been happening to me since the last 10 days or so..
