A question for the ladies of QL
Ok like i said this one's for the women (though i'm sure the guys are all intrigued now). Wondering what brands of pads (sanitary napkins)are available in qatar. This is one of the only products i have a fierce brand loyalty toward. Do you get Always there or should I bring my lifetime supply?
Thanks Margaret, that's good to know. Interesting about the tampons. Maybe i will bring some Always over then until I can see what's available. (Perhaps not the whole lifetime supply though.)
About 7 years ago my daughter went to study at the American University in Cairo for a semester. There were no tampons available in Cairo at that time. Maybe now its different, I don't know.
Regarding the Always brand. I found they were not exactly the same as in Canada,and less selection of the various types.
No feminine products! I wonder what he thought the locals did. :=) I'd come prepared too if i'd heard that but you're right, it does seem silly. My friend recently moved to indonesia for a job and her employer told her bras were unavailable there! The things people come up with! When you're still in the pre-moving anxiety phase though you pay attention to anything and eveything people say.
