Ramadan Shopping Clues

Shopping is great during Ramadan. But its also a time of overcrowding, exhausted sales fellas, impossible parking and disappearing commodities faster than you blink...

I am sure old timers can help us on when, how and why of the shopping during Ramadan. What to avoid and what to look for..

just restaurant and coffee shop close (bad news for me :-( ). Shop like hypermarket or clothing line open like normal with slightly different timing. THey normally announce their ramadhan timing on the paper. What we do we cut them and stick on the fridge.

TG, Sorry to hijack your thread, but I thought might be a relevent question:

Are all the shops closed during the day throughout Ramadan? or is it just the restaurants?

Avoid being on the roads 30 minutes before iftar and for another 15 after. The streets are deadly.

Avoid shopping the week leading upto ramadhan (specially the last few days) and the last week of ramadhan leading to eid
