Hi People...

Just want to let you that Ras Abu Abboud Roundabout or the bridge to marriot will be turn down anytime soon. My company just got the award from the Authority and we will start the construction in one month time. So please find your way around try to avoid this route. We turn down the bridge and the roundabout for underground tunnel from corniche straight to airport for future easy access to airport. By the way I work for the contractor and thought spread the news just for warning.

Have a good nite sleep everyone.

Next to Marriot new Resort which is opened recently are having lots of International Conferences going on regularly as we read in daily news papers.

Lets have some patience the authorities will definitely may come with alternate route but some roads may become one way and definitely there might be some traffic jams in peak hours.

If we have to see a better tomorow we have to face all this.

Barring any delays, when is this project scheduled to be finished?

Mila - thanks for the warning...I often travel that way. Will there at least single lanes open to facilitate traffic to the Marriott, Al Sharq, etc? It seems that's the only main artery to that part of town through the bridge and the roundabout. Thanks, again.

PS. Congratulations on the contract
