Rent hiking
Dear QL buddies, i was reading from doha news about rent hike in doha recent months,i wonder how to control the middlemen "agencies" they take advantage of the Landlords who never care who lives in his/her property therefore SOME agencies keep on exploiting expatriates whenever u need a room you're required to pay Commision first even before you pay again a month deposit, for instance "half month commission"!! it's quite ridiculous !you're the one going to find the room,not the room coming to you!! how can the authorities concerned stop these guys from reaping poor peoples pockets,..it's a very bad image when people keep on crying for help and no one cares only watching...any better advise would be appreciated...
dont be lazy... park a car.. walk in the area.. find a watchman or poster and make a phone call... simple as that

@da_ruru,i guess u r victimized by language,that's English ,not "singlish" clear translation for you, it means derive benefit from (a resource).
"How to stop them from exploiting?" -Don't be a victim.
@Nishad,am sure there many victims we need to raise our voices and boycott these habit in this wonderful country....
