residence visa - name spelling mistake
Dear QL members
My family members will be arriving here in residenve visa.
the issue is: the name in visit visa issued have some spelling error (not matching exactly with passport name)
where should i visit to correct the spelling?
will the immigiration office at wakra can do this job?
how long will it take?
or else let the family reach here...then later during application of RP stage the correction can be done???
Hello. Does any one knows how to follow up visa amendment? Im an applicant of HMC from manila and I recently got my visa. But my first name was misspelled/translated to english incorrectly. Please help me. Its almost one now now since my sponsor had filed for a request for amendment

my company visa department in charge said: they won't check each & every spelling of travelling persons name. they will just see the visa number & passport number. so, travelling not a issue.
once they reach, while applying RP: can we able to change?
change now, don't wait till they reverse your family(if identified) from the immigration at airport. i did the correction at Garapha branch, it will take one or two days to appear online.
U CAN GO TO GRAFFA PASPOT OFFICE AND DO IT THERE,,THIS IS COMAN PROBLEM,,,BUT MUST BE NOW U CAN CHNGE,,AFTER IF THAT MAN COME TO AIRPOT THAN HE FACE BIG PROBLEM..SO NOW IS BETTER,
Please find response to question, I hope it will be helpful for you.
1. You may visit Gharaffa Immigration office with documents and they will change it on spot. (Bring all documents photo copies with you, You passport, Visa, Visa holder passport..... just in case).
2. Not sure about wakra
3. Few seconds (If all other information are correct in Visa, for example Passport number, Father name etc etc).
4. You family member might face some problems due to this mistake from thier origination airport.

It is better to change before their travell , as they might have problem boarding plane due to spelling mistakes . Just take the evidence like passport copies to the immigration in Gharafa. Speak to the Captain about correction .They should be able to correct the mistake within no time if the mistake is minor .....:
