When an employee (senior grade ) is terminated of his job and for the last period, is he entitled to stop going to work for a certain number of days ( and how many days ) especially when he does not want to transfer his sponsorship and wants to leave Qatar and cancel his residency ?

As I understand, he can continue working till his last day in Qatar and it all depends on the company. However, usually this does not happen. Most companies allow the employee to stop working several days before his exit so that settlement of dues can be done, to allow him to pack up and prepare for exit. The termination letter states the last day of work and he gets paid till that date. The employee needs to leave Qatar within a week after the issuance of exit visa.

Your sponsor is your guardian and father in this country .. Why not tell him that you will work extra hours for free before you leave / it will bring joys to you both

There is no such thing ... many companies , for security reasons ask the "senior grade" employee to take "gardening leave" - This is usualy the length of his/her notice period - as per the contract..

You could request the company to pay you your dues and leave early - That is if they don'tr want you to work out your notice period..
