i hope the management will take action.thanks!

Popeye's fries dipped in spices are good, but chicken is way too oily and black/red from inside.

and to think that the manager is the one who is supposed to be teaching his staff to be customer friendly,to treat customers the right way, to excite the customers, etc.. out here a lot of managers are just clowns and idiots themselves.

Some people, mind you not just Egyptians, tend to shout more than talk. Perhaps he was trying to make himself heard over all the din. In any case as many around here already mentioned, KFC does not a good dining experience make!

that the meat is dry through and through.

I don't think they taste their prep....coz its way too salty.

Even the coleslaw is watery, an indication that its not freshly made DAILY as it should be.

The counter people looks morose.

Customer service is poor all around ... here focus is on making maximum money ... there is no focus on service nor hygiene ... but in a way it is good ... it discourages me to waste money on junk food ... cook at home and stay healthy.

Cheer up...

Firstly, Anyone can Panic or react in crowded places. How can one expect that the manager of the KFC be patient all the time when he has 100+ customers in line.

Secondly, Egyptians are not bad people. They are kind if you are kind to them and they are worst if you are bad to them. Check your words and attitude before you interact with anyone not necessarily with egyptians.

Lastly, there is no point in expressing your experience in KFC over here in QL. If you felt it so bad then you would have questioned the manager on the spot.

Cheers!!

Dining outlets are supposed to have the most polite and well mannered staff with them. You need to complain against him in writing.

I dont get this obsession of not mentioning the nationality. If he is from a particular country it has to be stated so. We all know (if we dont deny intentionally) that this place works based on nationalities. Why otherwise when we talk of pay scales we have a different and completely arrogant attitude from the beneficiaries (obviously masked by so many positives which cannot be verified and arent applicable for each and everyone of them).

1. where is 'kfc airport'? What country is that? Perhaps you mean "JFK airport"?

2. What nationality of the manager has to do with all this matter?

3. as Oryx mentioned, how one can expect a good meal at KFC, in the first place?

@OP... I feel for you. Try talking to the guys on the counter next time, they would, in all probability, answer properly. Looks like these small shop 'so called managers' are generally rude.

BTW in India I can get as many ketchup packets as I want (not to carry home though)...:)

Even I also have came across a same kinda situation. In this same place. I ordered 2 family meals and one Egyptian guy was the one who gave my order. He kept both the boxes in the tray and finally he gave 2 ketchup for the 2 big buckets i ordered. And when i asked for more, he said - SORRY. Wtf? I started asking him the reason and then gave me 2 more! I threw it on him and went out to FFC and bought one HEINZ and took it to KFC!

After my food i went to the same Egyptian Manager and he said they have limits for providing ketchup. And when i started arguing with him, he was just getting hyper and i never think that its the way to behave with a customer! Its coz of us they are there!

May be you misunderstand...

Egyptians talk very loudly...

Once an egyptian was telling me a secret in my house..

But too loudly that my neighbour could also hear ...

Also once I heard a man crying in the street very loudly..

He was talking on the fool. I asked him why you are crying..

He said...Crying? Who is crying here. I am laughing ..man..

Peace be upon you, and how do you do?.

First of all, maybe KFC is cheaper than other fast food restaurants, but it's the worst to buy from.

Secondly, I have nothing on any nationality as we all are humans, but it seems that KFC restaurants in Qatar are using the worst Egyptians in most if not all KFC branches.

Also, KFC Qatar are taking advantage of KFC name as a lot of people like to eat in there. Meanwhile as long people are buying food from them as long they care only for money..!.

Finally, you could claim against that person who is in charge of that KFC branch, yet the best thing to do is to stop your friends from buying anything from them.

Take care and may God bless you.

Best wishes

Sorry to hear that dude..what have you experience is a normal attitude of people from that country..go back to history and you will know why..?

Here in qatar, you will easily recognized them from roads (driving), public places (malls/ fastfood/supermartket) and offices.

WHAT MORE TO SAY.....BE KIND TO ANIMALS.

Not to paint the picture with a wide brush, but for the most part, being loud, rude, authoritarian, condescending and obnoxious are the traits embraced by most Egyptians and it was the sole reason that my employer no longer hires anyone from Egypt. I'm sure there are good Egyptians all around us, but this particular one is certainly not fit to be in customer service or hospitality industry. The sad part is that even if KFC is aware of his behavior, as long as he is hitting his sales targets, he will not be questioned by KFC corporate, even if someone complained to them. The only thing that will ever work is when people decide to bycott his store. But I don't think people of Doha are ready or united enough to pull something off of this magnitude yet. But I empathize with the writer who was belittled by his host.
