Eid Mubarak!!!

I have just upgraded the firmware of my Samsung Galaxy S from froyo 2.2 to gingerbread 2.3.3 and experience that the battery is being drain very quick. Anybody out there who have downgraded their firmware from gingerbread 2.3.3 to froyo 2.2? Please share or guide how to downgrade.

Appreciate for your help.

hey...recaliberate your battery and put in download mode and clear user data ( backup before that ) and wipe cache partition...u can see these options in download mode..

Hey, I had a similar problem just root your phone and put a custom gingerbread ROM they have different builds for different purposes like speed, battery life etc etc. Look here for more info:- http://www.xda-developers.com/look for forum entries under your mobile model. Good Luck
