Sania

The night had finally come. It took her many months of arguing with her conscience until she finally managed to subdue it, many sleepless nights, and many weeks of planning until she was certain about the execution of this most disastrous plan. Her husband was to come home, as usual, around 9 PM and then they were to have dinner, before going to bed. Her plan was to go to bed with him and then leave the house at 3 AM while he lay in the bed--- dead.

Her name was Sania Alam and she had married the man less than 2 years back. She met him, in a chance meeting, one day while she was sitting in Starbucks, and it was this chance meeting which led to their marriage, a few months later, once they found that they had so much in common and that they belonged to the same country. Ever since their marriage the couple was happy. They had no problem with each other, except that Sania had known another man before she met Naveed Alam.

It was her boss. She worked as a junior level manager in a bank and was actually given this job, quite as much as a favor, by her job, even though she had the requisite qualifications as well. He was 10 years her senior and was married but, after meeting Sania, had been thinking of marrying again. Sania too was happy to get married to him.
It was just unfortunate that Sania became distraught once she found that her boss had been a little too close to his secretary. She was not sure though, but just heard once from the secretary, while she was on the phone with someone, “My boss would pass out if I leave him alone in the office… yeah, you can say he loves me all too well.” Her boss explained to her that there was nothing between the two and that the secretary was just probably bragging to someone. Anyhow, Sania did not like this and felt she was wrong in the first place to think of marrying an older man who has a wife already.

It was the very same month she met Naveed and they got married. In the meanwhile, Naveed did not seem to be furious at all by her desertion of him and her marrying another man. In fact, he offered to help her in any way possible saying that even though she married someone else, his love for her still remained and he would not be jealous.
