Scars on Lungs

Hi one of my relatives has a job offer from Qatar. However when he went for medicals in India it was found that there is a scar on the lung and the diagnostics center's doctor told that this is problem in getting a visa in qatar. This is an old scar he is perfectly fit now. Has anyone faced a similar situation. What's it like to undergo Medicals in Qatar and will they clear if this is an old scar?

If the scar is spotted then he will be referred for further tests.

Even if he is refused initially, his company can appeal and ask for a waiver for many job designations
