Second Tuesday of Feb is Sports Day

The second Tuesday of February every year will be celebrated as the National Sports Day in Qatar and not February 18 as reported in Gulf Times on January 16, official sources clarified yesterday. According to a decree issued by HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, the Sports Day will be a national holiday for all ministries, government departments and public sector institutions as well as the private sector.
