Of Sense and sensibility !

By Mom_me

When do people loose their composure and go beyond the boundaries of sensiblility? What irks you the most and what consitutes sensible behaviour?

Dont worry Jauntie, they're always clean :)

Oh and while being lost, I found a Baskin Robins so I was like hey if I'm lost I might as well eat ice cream (I have no idea why I didn't ask the guy for directions!! silly cow!) so I went into BR in my PJs lol...now that guy has a story to tell hahaha.

I'm mad at me too!

Ok so I was supposed to go, and then I felt too guilty cause I have exams, so I decided not to go. But then I decided to get Yellow Cab pizza for dinner to make myself feel better about not going...and here's where it gets better...

So I get the pizza and decide to drive around. I ended up getting lost for ages, in my pajama's!! hahaha, I have no clue how I got home!

"When do people loose their composure and go beyond the boundaries of sensiblility?" When they lose their sense of reason.

"What irks you the most" .. People who become irrational and lose their sense of reason!

"and what consitutes sensible behaviour?" Someone behaving reasonably!

Probably not very good answers, but the first which came to my mind :D

I'm glad u had a good laugh....With eccentricity comes much colour and entertainment, so I don't complain. Each family member claims to be ''the only sane one in the family'' ... (when clearly I, missmoneypenny, am the only sane one and thats all there is to that!)

Outrageously funny, Missmoney about your dad and sis being eccentric.

Hummers, I think Darcy is every woman's dream man.

It didn't seem like Tourettes...no swearing...and not apologetic in any way! No explanation at all in fact!

Hey Hummer, have u watched "Bride and Prejudice" ? It's an Indian version of the novel. I really liked it. And Darcy was hot!

I was introduced to a woman who was the friend of a guy friend of mine. She accompanied us to the cinema one evening, and her conduct was totally inappropriate in every way. She was calling out things in the cinema, and making innappropriate remarks very loudly. It was mostly in bad taste. I was horrified to see that some of my work colleagues were a few rows in front of us, looking back every few minutes to see from where these loud remarks were coming. I could not understand why my guy friend could befriend this rude, insensitive person. After the film I told him that she is totally offensive. I am not usually so surprised by odd behaviour, as my father & 2 sisters are eccentric, but this was just beyond the bar, and completely offensive.

Now, a few years on, I find myself wondering if perhaps this grown woman was experiencing some sort of manic/bipolar episode or something. At the time I had no understanding of such things, but looking back its probable.

Okay I being the host gracefully lost to the guests. I like the romanticism in Jane Austin's writing.

Corne, it is alive somewhere in the dark alley of QL. Just give it some food for thought to leap out.

Darude, there may be a drama with this name because it is also a popular novel by Jane Austin.

For me it is the pretentiousness of a person which takes him/her beyond the realms of reality.

Sensibility ? What's that? I looked up QL's dictionary, couldn't find it.
