I visited this museum about a month ago after completing my http://www.getbusticket.com/kissimmee-to-boca-raton-bus-tickets.html with my brother. It is one of the most famous and unique museums of the Middle East. It is well known all over the world for its dazzling collections. It is an ideal place to see for; culture vultures, history buffs, adventurers and art lovers. I also visited this spot to see the rich collection of art.
No one is answering the telephone at the museum and I can't find the website. Is the museum currently open and can we just arrive or must we make an appointment in advance.
Is it possible to come to the Museum by Bus from Doha Bus station(Al Ghanim). If so please let me know the way.
Cheers!!!
I called the number yesterday for a saturday appointment and i been told tht no need of appointment you can come.
I wonder they will allow me and my friend tmrw
thank you dear.
Coming from Doha, go straight on Khalifa Street towards Education City. Continue straight, pass Education City (on left) and at the Bani Hajer roundabout go straight.
You will continue on this road for some time, and will pass Al Rayyan sports stadium and a petrol station on your right. Sheikh Faisal's farm will actually be on your left on the other side of the road, but since there is no left turn, you have to continue past the farm in order to make a U-turn.
You will soon come to the Shahaniya round-about (its an overpass, you stay to the right to go up.) Make a U-turn at the roundabout. Soon after making the U-turn you will see signs for Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Farm, and you turn right where the sign indicates. Continue straight after making the right turn and you will see the museum.
Sorry dear, i am poor with using the map.
Where exactly can i find your location. If for example, i am coming from Qatar Convention Center.
Thank you.
Wow!!! Thanks.. Expect my call soon. :)
thanks for the info.. maybe this weekend ..
I visited the museum two weeks ago. The museum is extraordinary, I was not expecting such a huge collection. Will visit again as it was not possible to look at all displays in one visit.
Good morning! The museum is open to everyone, individuals and groups, and entrance is free for all visitors. Anyone wanting to visit needs to make an appointment, so please call +974 44861444 to book your visit.
Last time I heard it is open only to group tours with appointments. Like companies and school. Please clarify.. Otherwise I would like to go in my free time.
Thank you for sharing. I'm going to take my students to it next Tuesday Insha'Allah.

In October of last year, four new galleries were inaugurated at the Museum, in line with the "Doha, Capital of Arab Culture 2010". (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=144838702253274&set=a.144838482253296.31512.144183525652125&type=1&theater) And Sheikh Faisal is constantly adding amazing new items to his collection. So even if you have visited the museum before, there are definitely new things to see.
hope to visit the place soon!
