Shipping of personal belongings
When one move as a expatriate to another country is a “big” move for all members of the family. Part of this is making use of a company like Crown . Now I book 7 months ago a small shipment of personal belongings with them and request them to pick it up the 4 January 08 and then send it to Doha ASAP .I was told that it will leave SA the 8th, then the 9th and then the 12th .Now still it is in SA and I get all sort of bad excuses why it is still in SA .Now I am told that it will leaf the 14th. Which is 10 days after the pick up .It is bad to see that a company like them commit to a specific date and then keep on changing it ,as if they do not have any feeling for our personal belongings that we trust them with and they promise to have here on time. So be careful witch company you make use of .This is not the first time I now that this kind of thing is happing. If it delay by one day or two it is acceptable.
