Showbox question, can you help please!!

We have recently got a showbox and it is great. Pause, record tv etc, recording onto the showbox works fine. We also have an Orbit receiver and dish. The problem is this: We have got a new DVD recorder, Samsung the same as TV. I thought I would be able to record programmes from the Showbox hard disk on to a DVD but the message says that the signal will not allow recording of this movie. Orbit records fine onto DVD. Does anyone know if Showtime blocks recording of it's programmes onto DVD recorder or is it a fault with the DVD recorder? I am not trying to record movies, just regular TV. Can you help me please, the showbox memory is getting full! JJ
