Skin and bone or Meat on the Bone??

Missteacher
By Missteacher

So I was having this debate with a fellow colleague and id like to put it out to QL!

What weight makes you as a woman feel comfortable and happy?? Skin and bone or meat on the bone? Personally I feel comfortable when i am 'skinny'. If I have 'meat on the bone' I feel uncomfortable and unattractive.

What weight to do men prefer? I know this will vary with personal taste but in general do men prefer their women with a lot of meat or skinny?

Lastly, I would like to know from the women who wear abayas; do you feel that you dont have to worry as much about your weight as no one can see your body? Or is it still as big an issue for you as Western women/women without abaya?

(MOD note: The illustration pic has been removed)

Zero size bodies make me feel sick in my stomach!

The issue with gals today is that they don't have a problem starving to death just so they look like Angelina Julie or Julia Roberts.

Gals gals! Those females you see on TV they ain't real ppl because they are media driven body shapes! Would they be average and normal shapes if they weren't well known? alot of those are driven by the desire to succeed with plastic surgery lifts and personal trainers!

Us normal guys like shapes in girls that are normal in the sense the way they would be if they were doing it for themselves and not a media circus!

i'll reply to all of you in a song .....

- I

--- like

-------- big butts and I can not lie

You other brothers can't deny

That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist

And a round thing in your face

You get sprung, wanna pull out your tough

'Cause you notice that butt was stuffed

Deep in the jeans she's wearing

I'm hooked and I can't stop staring

Oh baby, I wanna get with you

......

lol

WRT to abaya females their face need to be more charming and attractive than body.

Even a fat lady with fine features with big smile on the face, deserves admire.

You don't need to post ladies in swimming suits at QL to get gentlemen opinions (among a few who saw the picture, deleted by mod)

Agreed Bachus. The older a woman gets the more meat she needs on her bones, otherwise she ends up looking like Madonna or Angelina Jolie, all veiny and boney. Blech!

IMO as a happily married man--there are few things less attractive than a woman in her 30s or 40s who has emaciated herself in the delusion that fitting into her clothes from her teens will make her attractive. Regardless of their size, women are more attractive if they look comfortable with their own bodies, look like they are in good health and shape, and have chosen clothes that are appropriate to their own shape, size, and taste.

Not too skinny as you will feel the kick of the bone but more fluffy in some areas.

I like "meat on the bone" in fact I like the phrase only a dog wants a bone!

Songs have been written as an ode to curvy women:

I like Big Butts - Sir Mixalot

Fat Bottomed Girls - Queen

Big Girls - Mika

I can't think of one written for skinny girls, certainly not a good one. ;-)

i like one with curves, not skinny. So i can still feel that I'm hugging someone and not hugging a stick and I don't want the chubby one because I have a lot of big pillow to hug at night.

Just read back at the comments...OMG people, what is wrong with you? Wearing an abaya doesn't make a difference, they are still women underneath they still have the same feelings, fears and insecurities as non-wearing abaya women.

Thanks FS :-) xXx

shisha202- Yeah you have a point...just most western women also can worry about what society has got to say, not so much their family. But yeah if you go to a party and its all women that are not your family then I guess it would just be same.

They are size 27, sometimes 28, depending on the style.

I am working on getting into a 26 again :)

As long as all the lady lumps are in proportion, size isn't a huge deal. As for men preferring skinny girls, I'm not convinced...I definitely attract more male attention when I'm curvier.

Agree mohdata, I think the abaya does take away a lot of body issues women have. I wore one on UAE National Day, when I was 8 months pregnant. I felt the most attractive I had in a long time.

Yeah and I dont know why this thread has been deemed religious...abaya is a culture thing not religious.

to the folks offended at the abaya bit; there's no need to be. the bashers will bash regardless but her question doesn't provoke it..I personally and most men prefer curvy filled out women..skinny makes women look just like us men lol..and curvy isn't the same as overweight..big difference..as for abayas, I do feel it can help (if only a bit) women who have body image/self esteem issues..in our judgmental society where there's more pressure than ever on women to look good; I feel the abaya can be a protective veil for those who won't have any of the judging and critiquing. Just my humble opinion though:-)
