Now I don't feel so bad when my curry takes forever to get delievered now and when I call them, they say the driver is in your area now only 2 minutes away. In fact that is the same 2 mintues my Indian taxi driver gives me when I call to find out where he is.

India Himalayas 1968 plane crash yields body
The plane that crashed in 1968 was a Soviet-made Antonov 12 The body of an Indian soldier killed in an air crash in the Himalayas 45 years ago has been recovered, the army says.

The remains of NCO Jagmail Singh were found on the Dhakka glacier in northern Himachal Pradesh state.

The soldier's identity was established by an identity disk, an insurance policy and a letter found in his pocket, the spokesman said.

The army transport plane crashed in February 1968, killing all 98 soldiers on board.

Nothing more was heard from the aircraft after it made radio contact near the Rohtang pass, which links Himachal Pradesh with Indian-administered Kashmir.

The debris of the Antonov-12 was discovered by accident by a team on the Dhakka glacier in 2003, the BBC's Baldev S Chauhan reports.

Four other bodies were recovered in subsequent search missions.

The latest search operation started on 13 August.

I now see where you're coming from. Everywhere was awful for you.

Why don't you get converted into a religion? At least they're offering you the Heaven.

Think about it.

considering the english were respectfully sent home about 60 years ago; the englishman who didn't leave 15 years earlier and stayed on, deserves what he's getting (or not)now

Maybe the airforce was delivering a curry and the poor Englishman on the mountain is still waiting....

Have you ever been to Himalayas, Its really a tough job to recover bodies due to heavy snow, avalanche etc..

Its a pity when someone tries to compare delivery of a curry to the efforts taken by the army force...

Better late than never.

If everyone behaved perfect what would be left to rant about and then what about the itch to rant. What could be the alternatives?

you do make a valid point..the concept of time does differ from place to place..Germany as a stereotype is known for its exactness, if you will..somewhere like Qatar, well, we have a laid back concept of time and punctuality here:-)

can't this situation is taken as a practical session of improving on one's patience .... that's free too ....

btw.. this has nothing to do with Curry.. you can order Pizza and end up in the same situation

Yes. Mohdata agree with you but just wondering How many did they find out of 98 soldiers?

NASA has found a 460 mile long canyon below Greenland’s ice sheet which was hidden from the whole human history hence it happens.

I am not a racist at all... but I do have to acknowledge that a 15 min for german is not the same as 15 min for some other nationalities. It is just the way it is... having said that.. if I had a driver I would train him to give me the right time... let him say 45 min... but be on the dot... rather than 10 min and be in here in 30 min... this attitude has to change if they want to continue being competitive on the market. I guess in Qatar this is wide spread so people can get away with this.

WTH forces one to eat curry in first place :)

there's always option to go for pizza :)

pay attention to the menus..the same item usually has two different prices..not all menus mean 'big' and 'small'..some mean 'slow' and 'fast' :-)..and hey they crashed in the Himalayas..there's snow and stuff there..more than negligence, maybe the guy just got buried in..imagine if they found the plane only in 2003

I have never seen "Slow Curry" in the menu except these Mutton/Veg/Fish curries :))

Yes. Agree with you. Dealing with a huge population in India is not so easy as delivering a curry but 45 years must be because of negligence by someone.

However many other restaurants are good in this slow delivery.

Mohdata correct! Waiting 15 mins for my curry is nothing compared to the family waiting 45 years for the body.

Like Tinks says, slow and steady wins the race, inshalla!

his point is that even a dead indian reaches their resting place or is discovered after 45 years..so his indian curry being delivered 15 mins late by an indian driver is no longer a big deal..presumably he won't be annoyed now on wards with late curries..and having gotten his first dose of attention from unknown users on an internet forum, he is now satiated for the time being and can think of his next attention seeking gimmick
