Qatar’s SCH Anti-Smoking Drive Nets 829 Offenders!

With 16% of its citizens addicted to cigarette nicotine and sheesha, are health authorities in the State of Qatar bent on enforcing the state’s anti-smoking law?

This year alone, around 829 violators of Qatar’s anti-smoking law have been nabbed and fined accordingly. The total amount collected from the violators reached QR 319,000 based on an average QR 385 fine per person.
