STOP IT!!!!

I have noticed that there is some horrible bahavior occurring on QL. There seems to be a shortage of niceness.

In order to change the mood a little, I suggest that we list the three songs that have moved us the most. Hopefully, this will improve the emotional mood of QL in time for the weekend. Here are my top 3.

1. For a Dancer Jackson Browne
2. Suzanne Leonard Cohen
3. Seventeen Janis Ian

1. Nothing Else Matter - Metallica & Eva Cassidy (version)

2. Imagine - John Lennon

3. The Thin line between Love & Hate - Iron Maiden

Right now at this moment:

1. I wanna love you - Akon

2. If Everyone Cared - Nickelback

3. If you tolerate this, your children will be next - Manic Street

Preacher

Cheers

I find it wholesome to be alone the greater part of time. To be in company, even with the best, is soon wearisome and dissipating. I love to be alone, I never found the companionable solitude. - H.D. Thoreau!

being a teenager in the 60's probably means I have somehow forgot a lot of songs. As a staunch member of the "frequent fliers club" I think I am still getting some "free flying miles".

All my life I've wanted to be someone; I guess I should have been more specific

UNA PALOMA BLANCA

George Baker Selection (The Netherlands)

When the sun shines on the mountain

And the night is on the run

It's a new day

It's a new way

And I fly up to the sun

I can feel the morning sunlight

I can smell the new-mown hay

I can hear God's voice is calling

For my golden sky light way

Una paloma blanca

I'm just a bird in the sky

Una paloma blanca

Over the mountains I fly

No one can take my freedom away

Once I had my share of losing

for they locked me on a chain

Yes they tried to break my power

oh I still can feel the pain

Una paloma blanca

I'm just a bird in the sky

Una paloma blanca

Over the mountains I fly

No one can take my freedom away

Una paloma blanca

I'm just a bird in the sky

Una paloma blanca

Over the mountains I fly

No one can take my freedom away

are my favorite band. I have just been listening to them on my ipod. The Cure are a great band also. What irony that Ian took the place of Jim Morrison as frontman for the 21st Century Doors. He was good too.
