'SUKAR' online shop
Is their anybody who also visited online this SUKAR online Shop which is always shown on the internet. They are showing on their main adds about electronis items on SALE such as iphones etc. but when you sign in to visit the site only clothing and some jewelry items are on sale. I ask them why is that, they reply just keep on visiting their online shop. I think this is just their marketing strategy because many are interested on electronic items such as mobile phones which I think they dont really sell. This is quiet misleading and decieving.

If I remember it right, they started with a "Registration only by invitation" kind of a policy. I think somebody even posted an invitation link on this forum few days ago for sukar.com. This approach, to me sounds like they are out to fool innocent people by adopting the otherwise obsolete marketing gimmiks.I think it will be wise to wait until they reflect transparency and professionalism in their approach and stop acting smart.
I am a member of sukar, There are times they have electronic items on sale like iphone, ipod, usb flash drive, cameras etc. but it wont be 70% or 50% off, it will only be 10% (for electronics) and sukar is based in abudhabi, i think, so you will have to pay for delivery which is about 150QR. I bought 4 pcs wrist watch for 150QR each, from sukar which i think they said is 90% off, I never checked the market price of those watches so i cant verify. The thing is I only recieved 3 pcs, and when I called they said the other one is out of stock so they gave me a claim voucher number which I can use to purchase another item. But i never used that voucher cause it means i have to pay the delivery again. Any way they stoped sending me emails on their offer so I havent been to their sight lately. hope this gives you some ideas about sukar.
It's just another wanabe eBay that thought this type of site was suitable for Qatar. It's not. Without a PayPal style payment gateway that is Qatar friendly and a mail system that delivers to the door, just like the other efforts, it will fail.
