Supportinging Doha Unplugged!!

Did anyone rock up tnight to the unplugged gig night out in the glasshouse, garveys?

I'm pumped to see that there are gig nights like this one cranking up in Doha - we need to see more indie artists showcasing their talent here in Qatar! ... esp in an environment like this that is not crawling with gawking drunken clowns!! (which i understand the main area of garveys can be known for..)

Apparently the Glasshouse is going to run this open-mic style night once a month.

Lets show our support!

We came today. Original plan was only planning taking son for a swim. But we ended leaving Garvey's around 9.30pm (we were there from 3.30pm). We watched this guy in the main bar (Pat from Dubai), not in the glass house because they have a private function there. He is not too bad ... good voice and good guitar skill. But i don't think he is communicative enough with the audience. Overall i still enjoyed the music.

Btw ... 20 percents of the people in Garvey's i saw today are 'coloured'. :P
