Sweepers killed for doing their job!

It's been like that for a while
Since I moved to this region for work he says ):

Street cleaners working in the GCC have been physically and verbally abused while on the job - including vicious attacks from rich kids in expensive cars like the one in this picture.

1. If the photo is genuine, why not mention the name of the country?

2. Why leave it at GCC?

3. Why remove the car number?

4. Why post it in a Qatari forum?

5. If the person is so concerned about the plight of the street cleaners he should send this to the newpapers and police with the car number plate info

Please note that Qatar is part of GCC, so merely leaving it at "GCC" creates unnecessasry ill will among people.

This post just looks like someone is trying to spread false news.

This is my Sixth year in Qatar and I have NEVER come across such behaviour. I have seen Expats & Qataris stopping their cars for street cleaners and giving them money. So not sure where you are getting this false information. The photo does not look like it is from Qatar. If you have proof, provide it to the police / newpapers instead of inciting ill will amongst people.

During Eid time, I have seen many people who throw plastic bottles and left over food right infront of the villa or throwing nearby area. These cleaners are keeping Qatar clean and tidy, need public help by throwing their garbage right place. How many hours they have to spent under scorching sun to pick up the plastic glasses and bottles thrown recklessly. They too are human. Most of them might have paid a huge sum to the agent for getting the visa irrespective of the nature of the work offered by the sponsor. I know many workers who paid huge sum by mortgaging their house to fullfil the dream of gulf life. After reaching here, their meager salary cutdown by HR in the name of visa fee, uniform fee etc. If any one question, their termination is 100% sure. For regaining the mortgaged house, they have to continue in gulf until they finish the loan by paying double interest to the lender.

My request is that consider them as a human. Children need to get better guidance and education . Teach them to respect others irrespective of their designation.
