Take Care of your Cars..

Hello guys..

My company purchased 5 new mitsubishi lancers, and had parked out side their office in a shaded parking near the center. Although the parking is very secured, these brand new cars were not handed over to the drivers and were still kept in the parking for about 4 months in a dusty looking condition.

Well yesterday night, a Thief came in the parking and had done a professional job by breaking the rear glass of this brand new car, and guess what all he stole,

The Steering Cover (With the Airbag) ripped open
The Dash board box
Side Mirror's
Car Streo
And also managed the break open the starter unit and tried to start the car by connecting wires.

The security guard on duty found something fishy and the robber made his way nice and clean, but forgot the most important thing.. his finger prints all over the super dusty car.. The police came and took finger prints, will get to know soon who is behind this act...

From my point of view for sure the guy was keeping a watch on the cars for a long time and i am sure he wanted to get most out of the car.. unfortunatly he could not..but it was pity to see a new car in such a bad condition.

So my advise to you all. Doha is i guess not anymore a safe place, keep an eye on your car, lock your doors, and make sure you dont have anything so flashy that could catch the eye of a Thief. Also my Neighbour lost he his alloy wheels from his car a couple of months ago and his car was setup on bricks.. the police could not find any finger prints...

Be carefull..

and:

and also:

"I hope you are not offended as I do give strong replies for dumb questions."

But you still seem slightly ignorant.

Smart Questions.. But you still seem slightly ignorant.

1. Why did the thief not wear gloves - Well why dont you go and ask him. Since i dont have the tendency to read the mind of a Thief.

2.All cars are brand new & Mitsubishi Lancer - dont come with Safety Alarms for that fact.

3.It just happend to one car that was among the six cars

4. It was 1AM in morning. The Security guard was in the building. He was not Blind nor deaf. The Theif tried to start the car. He did not start the car. Since he was not blind, he was able to get to the scene.

5. I have asked my self the same qustions, But please read my post clearly. I mentiond to you those facts that i was aware of and i seen in the morning.

6. I dont care if it makes any sense to you or not. Coz to make sense you need common sense.

So Officer Ram, if you are done with the investigation, may we now conclude the case as you seem to be very curious.

Last but not least I am in Qatar since 26 years now and I am 26 years old... needless for me to say anything more than..

Its a general post and take it positively. If i knew too much, I would not call the police.. I hope you are not offended as I do give strong replies for dumb questions.

Umhamza - I hope you have heard about the term Investigation, that's how i got to know.

Cheers

If this thief is really smart .. and been watching the cars for a long time .. some questions r rolling in my mind:

1- Why didn't he wear gloves?

2- If this cars are new, Where are their security alarm systems?

3- did that happened to only one car or all of them?

4- where were the security Guard when the thief entered the Parking and break the glass and tried to connect wires to start the engine? Is he deaf or blind??

5- In ur profile it's written Inspector, Haven't u asked urself the same questions?

6- Do u think that this make sense to me?

sorry i didn't mean any offense .. but really i'm just thinking with my little experience and i'm not sure of wut u r saying ..

I've been here since i was 6 yrs old now i'm 26 yrs old and i haven't myself experience any robing .. that doesn't mean that Qatar is 100% safe place .. but it's still considered as a safe place ..
