Taking Car with us to USA

Dear All,

I am here in Qatar at the moment and recently moved from the UK. Because of variety of reasons, I am not quikte happy to extend my stay in Qatar and planning to head to the USA.

Could any one of you tell me wheher I can take my car from Qatar to USA? if yes, how much it does cost? is the process is complicated?

The US has different safety requirements. Cars imported into the US need must meet US safery standards; modified (read bigger) bumpers, catalytic converters, etc.

It's a complicated procedure. Do a Google search for "importing cars into US" to get an idea.
