Tart Receptionist misbehaving

ICU
By ICU

I have read one of the prostitution discussion forum here that I find very interesting.

Most of people here mentioned that you will find prostitutes in the bars or outside the street. You do not have to go far to search for them. Start with the hotel you are currently staying in.

One night my hubby and I heard this loud screaming noise at the corridor. We quickly open our door and it turns out to be the one of the Filipino receptionist trying to preposition somebody else husband. The wife was due out for holiday but for some reason she had cancelled her flight and return back to the hotel. The receptionist thought she was gone and turns up wearing bathrobe only. (ready for action) one of the staff also told me that one of the receptionist even got caught in action and this time the wifey can home unexpectedly with her kids. It was surely the end of the relationship. Poor kids don’t you think? (So woman of the nights think twice)

Before everyone gets carried away, I am not saying all receptionists are tart and soliciting for part time job but perhaps there are few of them. If they were given fair amount of salary do you think this kind of prostitution will stop?

Moral of the story aside from the prostitution is a mortal sin, next time dont put any "NATIONALITY" to ur story to avoid commotion among ur QL members...

if you have clearly told the story in details, you will not have any negative responses like these. You have added another scene from your responses only and not in your original post.

who are more lucky than that poor receptionist....whatever nationality she is (as there are also other nationalities here in qatar who does the same thing and worst than that).

unlucky in the sense that they need to sell their body and soul to get more money for their family back home.

there are people who are more lucky than that poor receptionist who can afford to pay and buy her body and soul .... people who thinks than they are clean and they are great because money for them is not a problem.

people who thinks that they are great because they have never been in that situation of that poor receptionist that she needs to do everything that she can, for her to earn extra money.

still i pity her and i cannot judge her.

People got confused because it came as a shock.. Everyone was under the impression that there are no "ladies" of leisure" in the Phillipines. The receptionist was probably pretending to be a Filipina and should be reported to the authorities.

Why are people worried about the nationality. ICU mentioned the nationality as part of her story. People are the same in any nationality. People are people. Prostitutes are from every nationality as are faithful and unfaithful persons.

You are right.. This goes on a lot more than we care to admit..

The receptionist was moonlighting and got her upcomance when the wife turned up!

First of all I totally agree with what Alexa has said. It clearly shows that Alexa has broad frame of mind.

Filipinos not bec your race had been mentioned we are all generising all Filipinos are the same. (I have one Filipino friend myself. Oh well ok she studied and spent most of her life oversees and her frame of mind are completely different from most of you here.)

Britz, Aus, Americans etc are mentioned most of the time do we take offence about it generally? Why not step out of your square and try to see the bigger picture.

Ganda, it is nothing to do with how well your relationship is going. Are you the arbitrary what is a good relationship or not?

If my relationship will go sour tomorrow does it mean I am giving my husband a license to cheat or vice versa?

I got along with that couple next door. Sadly they went back overseas. I can assure you that he wasn’t cheating. The story was relayed to me after the incident both by the husband and wife.

You are probably not reading it right but when the receptionist knocks the door the husband answered and the receptionist didn’t realise that the wife was behind him.

You are pretending that the receptionist was some kind of innocent but in fact this is not the first story you have heard.

i said "a normal husband, a man who love his wife, a contented husband etc. wont do anything that can hurt his wife emotionally ... " that's why im thinkin there must be a problem between husband and wife. so why judge the receptionist alone? why not judge the husband and wife too?

Prices??? Did you see the write up in the paper about 2 weeks ago - prostitution "ring" busted and the lady prostitute was charging SEVEN riyals...and 3 of that went to the pimp/driver. Surely that must have been a typo!!!

Since they are scarce in Doha, I was wondering, what are those prices, for those extra curricular services...

I'll bet you, they must be scalping those pockets, from the local male population.

How about the native female population in Doha?

Hmm first of all I am not offended of any of your reply. Everyone has got their own opinion.

I am wondering why with in the prostitution forum Chinese nationality was mentioned and absolutely no one objected that their nationality should not been revealed. Yet when Filipino was mentioned in any form everyone was ready to attack. I know why but let us not go there shall we?

I am poking my noise? Well excuse me I was asleep and got disturb by their noises. Did I poke my noise or checked what was happening?

It is it the western guys are always the target here as they perceive to have money and to most ladies here they see them as dollar sign? So why wonder?

By britexpat• 19 Jun 2008 17:42

AS per your originl question, which most have forgoten..

NO I don't believe that higher salary would stop her doing it!

It reminds me of Billy Connolly story concerning the time he was propositioned by a prostitute in Glasgow.

Trying to think of something to say, Connolly asked, "how's business?"

She replied, "Great. If I had another pair of legs I'd open in Edinburgh".

By Overlook• 19 Jun 2008 15:19

I don't believe this can be entirely true. Certainly prostitutes operate here, but a hotel receptionist is going to value her job and would not risk losing it by doing this on her own doorstep and in her place of work. If she was going to do it she would do it away from her place of work. There is more to this story than is being told.

By azilana7037• 19 Jun 2008 15:05

though she OBVIOUSLY JUDGED the "FILIPINA" receptionist BY CALLING HER A "MISBEHAVING TART"...

A warning??? OF WHAT??? TO WHOM?

ORYX is right, SINCE she mentioned the nationality of the "TART"...why the nationalities of the "HUSBAND" & "WIFE" wasn't mentioned???

Don't think that I'm running to the defense of the so-called TART (being a FILIPINA, myself)...but in this case, there are 3 sides of the story:

1. the spectator/audience ON HOW they percieved what they saw

2. The husband's ALIBI

3. The "TART" who's side of the story, we'll never know

So...who's judging WHO???

What I don't like is the mention of the nationality when it easy to brand a nation and it's people, and to put the man in a position of being innocent is just beyond beliefe.

Of course the receptionist was a tart. The man was in shocked himself. I heard him yelling too and threaten the lady to be deported. From what I had been told the tart’s opening statement was I can offer you a good time sir? It won’t cost you a lot. The wife was keeping on repeating it over and over while screaming? “You are offering him a goodtime? You are even selling yourself so cheap. They were about to have a catfight my hubby pulled me inside our room.

One thing is quite clear, don't mention the nationality, it could be any, the other thing is your don't really know what is going on and you don't know if the girl was invited or not.

How do you know she is a tart? If I would judge people by their clothing or nationality I would say 70% are tarts and then how do you explain the men's part in all of this - innocence of course, the girl is always to blame.

Instead of spying on your neighbours or even waiting for something to happen go out and have dinner, your neighbours can handle their own problems don't you think???
