Your comment is definitely well understood. I was assuming that you was a single female. My apologies for my mis-understanding. I hope that you have already flourish out of your pain.

Divorce it is no win situation, most of the time is a mexican standoff.

I believe you already have left your permanent tattoo in someone else's heart.

Would you like a tattoo of yourself with an angelical expression?

I have to object, Red_Pope. When I married with 23 we both were students. One studied Pedagogik (don't know the English word for it) and the other studied Sociology and Economics. We had our peers and none in common. Sooner or later our interests diverged. We both decided to divorce after four years in order to avoid further headaches!

To experience a divorce, not only leaves a nasty scar in the heart but a mental crisis to both parties. I feel your pain, but as long you are still single, you will heal faster than others. You must move on and on!

I enjoy reading, others saying""" "PROHIBITED""" and no reference to back their statement. Then, to make it more interesting, "Their personal religious views" comes in the picture and still no koranic statement to back their comments.

Hey about the weddings , when those ladies use chinese Ink in their hands, full of artistic symbols.

Would I call them "Prohibited" or just a traditional and cultural habit for a special moment, such as a Wedding?

Give me a break with the "PROHIBITED" word.

I guess, If I fart is "Prohibited" too.

Tattoo is prohibited in Islam . But the main thing you have to think about is what if you get bored with your tattoo in future ? Erasing the tattoo is possible , but causes scars and pigment losses in your skin .

I got a friend who wanted his gf's name on his chest and visited a tattoo store . When they broke up , he wanted to erase the tattoo . Now , he has a big scar on his left chest .

Tattoo is not allowed in Islam. Anything that harms u is Haram in Islam. it spreads poison in ur blood and won't show side effects before long time and after that it's too late to cure anything cause the poison will be destorying ur blood cells. and if the tools were used not clean enough expect Aids :( don't do it

Eco,

From what I have deduced and please don't take this as gold. Is that shaping the hairs on the eyebrow is okay..

And falls under the same condition as shaping the beard. I.E. only shaping the stray hairs and not taking more than what is prescribed.

one must not change the shape of the eyebrow in any way and only take the stray hairs. Such as that which is in the middle of the eyebrows and causes one to look as if they only have one eyebrow.

However, it is best to follow the hadeeth and if one is unsure of something to refrain from doing so until they can have someone shed more light on the subject.  As it is very easy for women to go overboard in this regard. And we should have taqwa in Allah!

May Allah make it easy for us all inshAllah ameen.

p.s. it would seem that these are such small matters yet people find no shame in following dodgy imams or even with regards to taking interest! We must ask ourselves if we have our priorities straight first?

If you do have one and you are female, expect lots of tut tut tut under the breath of doctors and nurses if you ever have to go to the Womens' Hospital. My only negative comment about my stay there, the rest was great care indeed.

its not enhancing Allaha's creation this is something like staying neat and tidy......

but still as i said i am not a scholar.....

might be it depends from Imam to Imam......

I give up i don't know what is right and what is wrong

one thing i know that it is not Haram.....

we all know its painful, can we consider this mutilation is  ok bcos we are enhancing Allah's creation and its done to please husband

We have hadith from Bukhari and Abu dawood that this act is forbidden.

I am not a scholar either once you get correct hadith we do not go against it and try to justify our acts. Some sisters do continue

shaping their brows but they know they are doing wrong. We cant be 100% perfect anyways atleast Allah knows we are striving

I really dont understand your reason to check about Tattoos and Religion, I mean thats a personal interest...

Now come on, dont divulge into this kinda topic buddy...I mean leave the Tatoo an area for fun and interest rather than any hand of religion in it...

I mean just so you know, no offence was meant looks like you are doing a lot of research in a few things that are not meant to go that direction...like the Wax or Eyebrows as well...

Everyone has tattoos now a-days and I find it extremely disgusting...I'm sorry.

Be unique and dont buy into the hype.

There's absolutely nothing in the world that you can want today that you will want on your arm, leg or "lower back" that you will still want in its sagging condition in relatively the same region when you're 70.

For all those who said that Tattoo is Haram (forbidden) in Islam ..

Can some one plz give me a reason that convince me ..

Do u have any thing from the Holy Quraan or Hadeeth that says it's Haram?

I'm a muslim and i didn't find why it's Haram that i started to have doubts that it's Haram ..

Some ppl said that it's buz it prevent the water to reach some parts of ur skin when u r washing ur body for praying (Wodoo2) but as far as i know it's under the skin so that's non sense for me ...

Does any body out there has the correct reason for saying that it's Banned?
