Teaching positions for elementary ed

Hello,
Does anyone have any recommendations about where to start with respect to finding a teaching position for my wife? She is a certified teacher currently teaching 3rd grade(6 to 7 year old children) in Arizona and has experience in both Nevada and Michigan as well. Her focus/expertise is reading and TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). She will be visiting in October, but could come sooner if need be (say a position were available).

I should have my RP shortly, and my company will fly her out for a visit. I was thinking that might provide and opportunity for here to meet some people, and perhaps interview.

1. What date does school typically start?
2. Does anyone have a ball park figure or salary range?
3. Is there much of a demand for teachers with her skill set (younger children with a focus on language skills)?

Thanks

Sorry I thought the Supreme Education Council had set the start date for all public and private schools for the middle of September, I stand corrected.

Schools here will start back the middle of September because of Ramadan this year. I would suggest she contact the American School and Doha College - as a certified teacher in the US she has the quals to work at the better US curriculum schools.
