and still struggling in the fight for survival.

Everytime, I made something from scratch, somebody else takes all the credit.

Our parents made our fortunes by providing us the best of the world within their affordability and we do the same to our children. Isn't that we made from scratch?

I made a house a home in India for "scratch".

We had to move from Dubai to Doha in 2009. The company sends all your goods for free. My hubby and my sister were dead against taking the house hold stuff to India as we did'nt even have a house to put it. I begged them to give it to me rather than selling everything for a pittance. When the cargo arrived we put it in my uncle's spare car shed. We had been searching for a house for the past 1 or 2 years, which suited our budget and needs but to no avail.

A week after the cargo arrived God led us right into our dream home- a lovely cottage. The stuff which came in the cargo fitted into the house perfectly that it did in our Dubai home.

We furnished the house beautifully from scratch.

Now my hubby, sister and everyone who comes in are so appreciative of the way the house is done. I smile..And I believe in Grace more than ever before...

Thanks folks for reading for so long.. :-)

Having only started actually cooking after I got married and moved away from mom. Up until then, as a working woman, I was quite satisfied with eating out. Then I got married, and due to the high cost of eating out had to learn to cook from scratch. I still memo my sister and mom's recipes and written cooking advises for me.They had to include "wash the rice well" "close the pot" "slow the fire" "off the fire" etc!!
