My father has been under kidney treatment for last two years but he was fine before come here that's why i have brought him as well as if i give good food and joy here he will be revert to normal life. last 12 days he was in hospital i was not charged except medication and 7 dialysis done for my father. now he is with me in home but 3 times a week dialysis have to be done continuously every dialysis will cost QR330 for those who doesn't have Health card at the same time i try to get charity help but they refused due to visit only help is given to those who have residence permit.

I would like to place a note that HMC employers including doctors are very very kind, humble, respect and humanity. they helped lot of. the patient who on visit is charged QR400 per day after 3 days from the admission date but they helped me discharge with free.

May Allah bless them all.

I always thought that people without a health card just got charged full price.

Does this mean I can invite my relatives to Qatar everytime they need medical treatment and they can all use HMC for free?

I am sorry...but why would somebody on a visit visa get free service at HMC?

I am surprised that somebody with a serious disease like this was allowed to travel in the first place.

If he have health card, he will pay only 20% of market value of the meds. IF no health card HMC is like private hospital.

tahsin bro

The OP is right, Even though it is a govt hospital but the medicines and other related expenses are not free there.

They have a social service cell in the hospital itself (I don't remember the floor no.) Approach them with this letter the doctor gave you and they will tell you the procedure.
