Texas University's Cancer Center in Qatar

Texas University is considered a center of excellence, and is also world leader in Cancer treatment and research. The University operates several cancer centers (namely MD Anderson Cancer Center) in various US cities, Istanbul and elsewhere. While Texas University is present in Qatar and offering excellent educational programs, there is a need to invite its cancer (MD Anderson Cancer Center) branch in Doha. That would equip the country to fight this disease which is on the rise, with world class and very latest facilities. A formal request letter from the Qatar Cancer Society or the Supreme Health Council may encourage the Texas University to look at this proposal.

The University of Texas is not present in Qatar. Texas A&M University is here. Two completely separate institutions. Texas A&M does not have a cancer center.
