Trash and the Inland Sea

Yesterday some friends and I drove to the Inland Sea. It was not my first time there  but this time we took a different route going striaght on from Sealine and then driving over the dunes keeping the sea on our left but generally keeping the sea in sight.

The dunes were amazing and really stretched the capacities of the 4WD. We eventually arrived at the mouth of the Inland Sea where it meets the gulf. This is an amazing spot and there are quite a few camp sites there. There was also a family fishing and they were pulling heaps of fish out with no difficulty whatsoever. The views over to the bluffs in Sausi Arabia were awesome and the look of the dunes changes constantly with the shifting of the light. It really was a beautiful spot and I can quite understand why people want to camp there overnight.

The disappointing thing though was the amount of garbage just left lying around. Why can't people take their crap with them when they leave?

I don't know when the last time BBK visited this place but he would be shocked. Shame that people don't respect such a beautiful spot.

Hi,

I went there in the last days of March. It was a nice place.

I am sad that some people put garbage on the site.

Of all the deserts I visited in my life time is the same concept of tons of garbage pile-up.
