Truth Hurts

Truth is like a blue clear beautiful sky with a nice weather, but a lie is like a sky with grey clouds and thunders.

Truth is like a clear glass which you can see through but a lie is like dirty glass which does not give the full picture which you can see through.

We know the person who says the truth by many ways and the same thing for a lier, the most easy way is when you ask a question which has two answers, the first answers is logical and the second answer is not logical, he/she will not answer, the lier will also twist the question and divert the answer.

Also a lier may use bashing words and might make very silly comments.

The person who says the truth, most of the time he/she will answer or say I do not know.

The person who says the truth will always have a good reputation, but a lier will lose his/her reputation.

A lier will always try to make him/her self right even if he/she is wrong, the lier is like the dirt in the white dress which ruins the dress.

The person who says the truth is welling to discuss other opinions without getting angry even if the other opinion contradicts with his/her opinion, just opposite of a lier.

At the end I have to say that the above is only applicable for some people and not all, because some people may not had enough information and that is why they argue.

Also at the end the person who says the truth will be a winner and the lier will be a looser.

So always aim to say the truth and never lie, lie is only acceptable in some conditions, for example when two persons are fighting each other and one of them asked you what did the other guy say about me? You should say nothing.

Another case if you have promised your wife to buy something like a ring for example, and you forgot, then you can tell her oh dear actually I did not forget because we had a sudden meeting at work and when I went to the shop it was closed, do not worry, this afternoon I will buy it for you.

The last case you can lie is at war to trap your enemy who entered or occupied your country.

But please always keep your aim to say the truth and never lie, lie is only accepted in sever circumstances as mintioned in the above cases.

From now we will never lie.

Why do you like to generalize? Ibn Khaldoun described a specific type of Arabic people which he saw, and you want to make all Arabic people the same.

If you speak the truth (which doesn't exist, of course), everybody will think you're nuts. That's why I am with Kris Kristofferson:"Nightmares are somebody's daydreamsDaydreams are somebody's liesLies ain't no harder than telling the truthTruth is the perfect disguise."

Both my husband and I practice a strict "no lies" policy. Not even in jest. We only would resort to the whole "beating around the bush" bit when faced with a situation where telling "the whole truth and nothing but the truth" will clearly cause more evil or harm to another(yes there are certainly situations like this and even in Islam lying is permissable when it can bring about peace and stop an evil). Alhamdullilah I can say it makes life much easier and happier too!
