Twelve dead in UK Shooting spree...

I suppose it had to happen sometime.....

Twelve people were left dead after a crazed taxi driver went on a shooting rampage today.

Gunman Derrick Bird shot dead a fellow cabbie then drove through the Lake District in Cumbria apparently blasting his victims at random before turning the weapon on himself.

Another 25 people were injured during the bloody shootings — which cops have called "truly exceptional".

Three people are still critically ill in hospital.

Please spare a thought for the victims and their loved ones....

A blanket ban may only ensure the black market gun trade flourishes.

I am not quite sure what makes gun crimes popular in some places and not others. Canadians have a high rate of gun possession but one of the lowest gun related crime rates.

British people who are members of gun clubs and that have had a CRB can hold weapons.. although not of the ilk of the AK-47 etc, they are still dangerous. who's to say that these people will not "crack"

Sad news, was in cumbria two years ago. Thoughts are with the family and friends who have lost their loved ones.

It bring back the question of how can one get hold of firm arms when they are technically outlawed in the UK?

The pressure we put ourselves under these days, most of us are ready to snap at any instant. We need a bit of introspection.
