Under Review and Under Process - Difference?
By northernlad •
There are a lot of confilcting stories on here regarding the visa process.
I realise the duration toobtain a visa is nothing that can be guaranteed, but does anybody know exactly what the difference is between 'UNDER REVIEW' and 'UNDER PROCESS'?
Thanks.
any body knows how long time it will take since receiving the message under process , do we need to do any thing or just to wait ?
Victory, I totally agree with you but they follow some different internal procedures, based on how they categorize these applicants.
my point is this short messages are vague;
it should clearly explain at what stage of process my application is.
I submitted for family RP on Sunday. the message on Monday was Under Review. It changed to Under Process yesterday. And today it is approved and ready to print. Pretty quick!
Both under review and under process doesn't guarantee the approval. Process tag (as said by Yasir) will appear as soon as the application is submitted. Under review will appear when the application is being reviewed by the authorities. It could be approved or rejected.
no nfiqbal, "under process" does not mean that application has been approved. As soon as we submit the application it gets the tag "under process".
Not exactly Victory, under review means that it's up for approval, once it's 'under process' it means it'll take a few days before you receive the 'ready for printing' message. So in theory 'under process' is a preliminary approval.
Under review is meant that your application is being reviewd and not approved yet
Under process mean that your application has been approved and you will get visa after completion of the visa process :-)
I would say 'its under review process' and then should specify under what stage of process. Under process is a vague term to buy time.
