Undeserving love
Just posted this on my blog recently. Though I'd like to share it all to you. Here goes:
Undeserving love: Running away from the real feelings
Just seen this movie The Notebook which stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. It's about two couples who met by chance and spent wonderful moments with each other. It came to a time when one of them, the girl, went away because her parents'll provide her a future and the guy was left out alone, sending letters to the girl everyday for 365 days but never reached her because the mother kept it all. Time went by. The guy went to war, and the girl studied nursing. The girl met a new guy along the way, made a proposal to her, and all of the sudden she saw her old mate in the newspaper with the house built by their own memories. On an abrupt decision, she went to the old mate, make love and make a little more wonderful memories. Turns out she'll still walk away after having spent time with him, and still go with the soon-to-be-groom...all because of undeserving love, in spite of the man's effort to pull him back into their real feelings.
The movie sounds a bit realistic. We usually choose to run away from real love because we felt we do not deserve him or her, even if they need to lie in order to walk away even more...and what future holds each other's choices? Do we usually get a happy ending in this? Rarely we do not, right? We blame the world for the suffering caused by each other's different choices, yet it's always our burden that make things go out of it's own destiny.
30 years from now after the unrequited love, ask yourself, couples...have you really made the right choice? Or are you just holding out the pain under a vow made before the eyes of God? Did you felt the regret of not having married your one true love?
Everything in this book may be wrong.
Listen...to all of you people who are confused about being with your true love let me tell u this: Love will NOT wait for you, love will come and go, its upto you to hold on to it, basically its your choice, who or what do u love more in your life, your job, your career, your dreams, your man or woman etc. LOVE is LOVE in general and is or never will be for someone and only someone. Your fears of never finding love again is only going to ruin the moments you could have had today. In the end nothing else matters but what you want, dont give up ur dreams today for anyone coz tomorrow you will blame someone for it.
Good Fortune always comes knocking at your door...when you are sh*tting in the toilet!! :)

The question is (based on the story) does love have a deeper meaning than having occasional se*ual fling. My perception differs on the word "love" or else I would never use it in regards to my country/God and so on....
same crossroads situation here greentea.
btw, i love that movie, the notebook! watched it years ago..
"para mi amor esta loca"
seems not...
anyway, im doing a thorough soul searching recently coz im in this crossroad wherein im confused of which direction to go... to stay with the man i love and who truly loves me more? or to turn my back and run away from real love so i can pursue my childhood dream and my family's wish for me to be? *sigh*
