Humans never stop embarrassing themselves and their countrymen and women. Why not just make a video that is pro whatever their religion is instead of offending others by making an obscene movie that has caused a huge amount of damage, and death?

The people who were involved in the said movie need to be made accountable - I'm thinking of something like dropping them off in the main square in Cairo and letting them explain themselves.

I am not anti-war, I am pro peace. Some people need to stop being so anti.

Might have been more sensible to boycott Danish newspapers, after all I don't know of many Danes who are dairy farmers by day and cartoonists by night. But at least it was more mature than attacking embassies.

I think YouTube has now been blocked in Libya, but I don't know whether that was the decision of YouTube, or the Libyan government.

Well, I remember the time when people refused to buy Danish butter for the love of the prophet Mohammad (pbu)...I wonder....are they still not buying it?

Oh, and not to forget, the stores that refused to stock Danish products...now, I can confirm that those stores have had it available again for a long time.

BUT, what I find really positive about the demonstration here in Qatar is that it seems to be legal to stage a protest now.:)

Okay nomerci, I'm going to start a campaign to have YouTube blocked in Qatar.

They are the people hosting the video, so the logical thing to do is close their site down, at least in Qatar.

Let's see how many people love their prophet enough to miss out on funny videos of kittens sneezing, babies giggling and boys falling off bicycles.

I don't see any moral justification for the people who claim to be so upset by this, to keep using the website that is ultimately responsible.

So - who's going to support blocking the site?

But fubar, since when do people make the effort to find out what really happened? It is so much more convenient and comfortable to play the usual blame game.

I tried, but it wasn't worth the effort. The high school kids submitting videos to the Tribeca Film Festival can produce better quality videos.

I don't understand why the protests aren't against YouTube, for refusing to take it down.

If people are really that upset, they should be boycotting YouTube, and its owner, Google.

So if are really that upset, close down your gmail account and stop logging in to YouTube.

of this film had intentions of causing a storm and gathering publicity. The trap was set and the idiots who are murdering innocent people in embassy's around the world have fallen for it hook line and sinker. The makers and the rioters are one in the same, IDIOTS!

Couldn't agree more. In fact it irks me to see these losers get any kinda attention and publicity at all!

For the record I feel the same way about any degrading, slanderous and/or false jokes, movies, etc being spread about any of our Prophets from Adam(Peace be upon Him) to Muhammad( Peace be upon Him) I never waste a second watching/reading such evil material!

No sane thinking muslim would like to watch a movie produced by a lunatic, fascist person showing our great Prophet in a slanderous way. We are proud to be Muslims and very much proud of our Prophet.

I haven't seen it and neither am I planning to. I rather have my eyes ripped out than seeing something that is the slightest insulting to the Holy Messenger of ALLAH (Peace and Blessings of ALLAH be Upon Him)
