US comedy show lampoons UN ambassador
US television viewers have been watching a humorous interview with Qatar's ambassador to the UN, Nassir Abdulaziz al-Nasser. The interview was aired last week by Comedy Central's Daily Show with Jon Stewart. During the interview, which becomes increasingly tense, the ambassador is asked a series of embarrassing questions, and accused by the interviewer of not knowing the correct pronunciation of "Qatar". The Daily Show is regularly watched by 1.4 million viewers across the USA.
