Visa process and cheap hotels...

Can someone please help me, I cannot take leave until May of this year due to my contract etc.

I really want to be able to bring my girlfriend over here. Now I know that we won't be able to sleep in my apartment, so...

I need to know how can I get her over here with the Visa process as it currently is, and further to this are there are cheap hotels in Qatar?

Problem is Luxury Hotels have made the cheaper hotels be the price of a 4 star hotel in the UK. Putting it simply, I don't want to pay my full salary on seeing her for only 1 week.

Appreciate your help...

if she dont hv a credit card, you can arrange marhaba service for her. Gave the visa money to the 'marhaba ladies' plus the service fee. They sort everything out for you.

I always do that with my mom ... my mom dont speak English, so I arrange the marhaba service to pick her up as soon as she came out from the aircraft. I gave the 'cash' to them and they do the visa procedure for my mom.

Unless you have really nosy neighbours I don't see the issue in her staying with you - she could be a family member like a sister or even your wife - just tell her to put a ring on her finger! As long as you aren't doing anything illegal in public and she is only here a week I doubt it would be an issue. I think you can also pay for the visa with cash - not sure how much it is but she could probably get the currency from a bank in the UK. Good luck!!!

don't bother yourself with the hotels. If she is British, she gets her visa upon arrival at the airport, and no one will ever ask her where she is going to stay. She can pay with her credit card and you can reimburse her expense if you want. She can stay at your apartment absolutely free.

If she's white and adult, she'll probably be OK; and if she flies Qatar airways, they'll fix the visa, I think, which obviates the visa problem. Check with them.

I know single women who've flown into Qatar to stay with friends. Immigration seem to be mostly worried about people who look as if they should be Muslim or might be prostitutes.

If she is EU citizen she can apply for tourist visa on arrival.

Up to now, I havent heard about unpollite questions.

Credit Card is mandatory as you have to pay tourist visa with Credit Card (50QAR)

She will have to pay for the visa with a credit card. That's all. Money in her account is irrelevant. Just tell immigration "I'm staying at the Ramada" I'm sure they don't check for bookings! If they do, just say you will book when you get there!

But isn't there some drawback regarding Credit Card, money in her account etc.

Reason being is that I will be paying for her, and she will also have to state where she will be staying etc.

I need real good guidance...
