"once you visited all the malls and places here, khalas,,, no more enjoyment"

That was a quote take from your posting.

I was simply listing all the possible things you could try.

Guess its not an excuse jaelee.

camping picnics or so, is no problem for me. always done that, with my whole family and friends, good foods and drinks. no problem for that, even no problems in alcoholic drinks or whatever.

sports is there. gyms, tennis, bowling, gof, snorkling, windsurf, but life after sports is indeed good.

movies, cinemas here are good, but if you have a good sound system and projector at home, its quite more a private cinema.

and i am an organize person, as far you want to know. why would advertise? no need to advertise , its effortless. coz its like if you need adventure, then dont let adventure comes to you,

fishing, not interested. theres a fish market.

bbq somewhere? done that before, you can even do bbq anytime at home.

i heard doha players, i am reading newspaper everyday, laugh factory been there. and i come here to doha to work, not to join a drama club. coz coming and working abroad is already a drama into our life!

and i am not making excuses. what i pointed out was, if there are much more beyond. why dont you admit, that sometimes you feel also bored. i am always finding adventures. so there are always no excuse word to it. what you said, is like i went to the store trying to find a unique thing, but i couldnt find one as you block me with those presentations.

live life. and dont be harsh saying that what i posted was an excuse on my side. nor i am effortless. as you cant tell it unless you know me very well.

clear? i appreciate your kind suggestion, but thanks its already been done.

Why don't you try camping? Or even going for picnics? There is a lot to do if you are prepared to make an effort.

You have sports clubs/gyms you could join. Play tennis, there's bowling ... movies ... golf. Get a windsurer or snorkle set ... or go fishing. Start up a book club ... anything. Just get motivated.

Organise things yourselves ... advertise on this site and find people in the same situation as yourselves. You could organise a BBQ somewhere.

It's not all going to come to you ... you have to make more of an effort.

By the way, it's not just the Indians that have shows. Have you not heard of the Doha Players? Or read in the newspaper about the Laughter Factory? You could even join a drama group.

Stop making excuses.

thank u for ur reply....yah u r right. once you visited all the malls and places here, khalas,,, no more enjoyment. hope there would be someone who have the initiative to make some fun activities every weekend, atleast, we have something to look on to. irregardless of the nationality. but the thing is, i guess only indian have always shows and all, other nationalities don't have :( seems they are all busy in their life. hope doha have some good places to go for over and over again that will not be boring. you know, its good if they have the one like in singapore, the sentosa island, at least its a fun island where there's a leisure to do, have some bicycles, jog, corniche is good, but its good if there is something new where all in one is there, what ya think? :)

AS you, I'm new in Doha and I have the same feeling that people are always working and surfing on the net in Doha.It seem that there nothing to do here.I don't want to live this boring life and I think that expatriate people like you and me can do something to enjoy our stay in this city.
