Warranty for Replacement of Gadgets in Doha

I have my 4GB Flash Drive problem recently and i bought that last 8th of January from Lulu Hypermarket. Knowing they will just replace it with a new one, i hurriedly went there. When i got there, they said they have to send it the stupid manufacturer and it will take 2 weeks.

Not like in Carrefour, last year around summer, purchased a External Hard Drive 160GB. after 4 months of use, it was damaged. They instantly replaced it with a new one. I just presented my receipt. Kalas!

Some of us might know that some items and food are cheaper in LULU Hypermart than Carrefour. But in this case, i'd rather pay expensive in Carrefour just to have my gadgets replaced later on than in LuLU.
